Since 2011, I’ve been deeply honoured to walk alongside clients as they navigate their counselling journeys. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and the opportunity to witness resilience, transformation, and healing.

About Me

My path to becoming a therapist began with my own trauma as a teenager. I was severely injured in a car crash, told I would never walk again, and lived with chronic pain for years. I was fortunate to regain some mobility, and while I continue to use canes and walking sticks, these experiences taught me inner strength and presence with others in their most difficult moments.

During my hardest times, I was supported by therapists, helpers, guides, friends, and strangers who extended a hand when I needed it most. I now feel humbled to be able to offer that same support to others.

Outside of my professional life, I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and a lifelong lover of nature. I find freedom and connection in swimming, and though I no longer ride, I remain deeply inspired by the beauty and spirit of horses.

My Philosophy

I believe we all carry a sacred Inner Well — the source of vitality and healing within us. My role is to support you in uncovering the gifts and wisdom you already hold. This Inner Well can become a powerful resource for transforming challenges into wellness and vitality, both within counselling and beyond.

I also acknowledge the violence and harm done to our Earth, to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples on Turtle Island, and to many other oppressed communities. As a white, cisgender, heterosexual woman who identifies as differently-abled, I recognize the privileges and power I hold. I am committed to education, unlearning, and contributing to systemic change.

You may have experienced trauma through colonization, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, or ableism. These experiences are welcome in our work together, and I will support you in making sense of their impact. I am also reconnecting with my ancestors’ land-based practices as part of my own responsibility to global healing and change.

Inclusive Virtual Counselling for Adults over 18

I live and am supported on the Traditional lands of the Anishnabek, Haudenosaunee and Chonnonton Nations on Treaty 3 (Between the Lakes). I recognize that this statement does not begin to adequately describe the rich histories and many nations and cultures who have cared for and tended these lands since time immemorial. I have benefitted so deeply from this stolen land. I am both deeply grateful to the Waters, Land and all the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples of Turtle Island who I have learned from, and I am committed to decolonizing my ways of being and ways of knowing. I know this is life-long learning and I have much to learn. I support Land Defenders and Indigenous Sovereignty. 2% of earnings from my work will be given to Indigenous Climate Action.
